Suspect winemaker claims proboscis coloration is due to solar exposure.
In a typical burst of candor yesterday, Oregon winemaker John Paul denied allegations that blotched skin color on his nose was in any way related to exceptionally favorable reviews by wine-critic Matt Kramer. A recent sales trip to the sunbelt was laid to blame. “I don’t usually tan this brown” said Paul, “but hey how ‘bout that 98pt. score!”
