What’s Happening in Dundee

John Thomas’s car died on the freeway. It had been suffering from a Protracted illness-heart disease (fried rings). The loss of the wooden grill and the non-stock radiator will be deeply felt by all of us. A wake was held in the Dundee Hills to help John through the grieving process.

Shawna recently set a new record which should find its place into the Guiness World Records. On a particularly hot August afternoon, she managed to disrobe between her car and the swimming pool in a heart-stopping nine seconds.

Veraison was officially first spotted this year in the Dundee Hills by two of the newest vignerons, Julian Paul and his friend Harry Hatcher. According to Hatcher “those grapes are turning pink” while Julian emerged from the vineyard in a highly charged emotional state, declaring that “it is time to pick.” (Editor’s note: Harry and Julian are age 3.)

Dundee’s newest winery, Argyle, has embarked on a beautify Dundee program. They got off to an auspicious beginning by demolishing an entire city block. We’re hoping that they buy the Horse Trader and the RV Dealer next!

You can get anything you want at Alice’s Restaurant, except food. Alice and Bubbles closed their doors for the last time on October 14th as this year’s Pinot noir was rumbling by. A massive demonstration (at least a dozen people) failed to change their minds. A number of local personalities could be seen recently aimlessly wandering the streets of Dundee between noon and 1:00.
