2013 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

This is Cameron’s “wine for the people”.  Its nose is resplendent with aromas of sour cherry, rhubarb, raspberry leaf, straw and cedar, and the complex palate reveals flavors of dried cherries, violets and firm, soft skin tannins. Even though this wine could successfully compete with many of the more expensive Pinot noirs in the marketplace, we are adamant about providing this first class wine at an affordable price.

The grapes emanate from Lemmelson Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, and Johan vineyard, near the Van Duzer corridor.  Aged for 15 months in barrique and  fined with 2 egg whites per barrel from our Clos Electrique hens, the 2013 Willamette Valley Pinot  illustrates what all the hoopla about Oregon is about.  Not suitable for strict vegans,  for everyone else, run, don’t walk to your nearest retail outlet.
